Academic

On the academic front, extra classes and remedial classes were going on after the school. School teachers are staying back to provide subject specific help to all grades.






The students of grade 6 CIE had a practical on observation of plant cell and animal cell under the microscope.  Each student observed the plant cell, animal cell and some specialised cells like Red Blood Cell and nerve cell under the microscope and noted their observations.






Practical by Grade 7 CIE


The children of VII CIE had an activity on getting familiar with the lab equipment and how to use.  The children were made familiar with the various apparatus in the lab and how to use them. Lab apparatus like beaker, funnel, pipette, condenser, burette etc were shown to and their usage demonstrated.




Club class activity

Grade V , VI and VII  students made delicious “Palak Pakodas”  in their club class. It was really yummy.




GUEST LECTURE


Students of grade -IV had a guest lecture by Dr V. SUNEETHA. She spoke to the kids on healthy food and junk food. A healthy diet is the basis for a well-functioning body. Food is the source of energy for all of our bodily functions and directly affects how our bodies and minds function in every stage of life. There are a variety of reasons why a healthy diet is important, including disease prevention, maintenance of a healthy weight and quality of life. Children had as interactive session with their guest as she gave many tips on how to stay healthy.





ROBOTICS WORKSHOP

A Robotics workshop was conducted on this weekend. Robotics is the branch of mechanicalelectrical engineering and computer science that deals with the design, construction, operation, and application of robots, as well as their control, sensory feedback, and information processing.






SPORTS & FITNESS

Sports play a very vital role in the development of mental strength and physical fitness of a body. Being a student one gets tired of daily routine hectic work and needs recreation as well which is best attained in the form of sports. At the same time, sports are also important means of entertainment after long hours of studies and a source of renewed energy.
