Academic

On the academic front, extra classes and remedial classes were going on for grade XII students. They are writing revision tests in their subject and also having extra study hours in the morning. School teachers are staying back to provide subject specific help to all grades. Prep hours for other classes were also going on.

Activity on 'Panchayati Raj' System

Grade 6 has done a group activity (social science- chapter "Panchayathi Raj System", in learning how the Panchayats is formed, meetings in Panchayats, about the formation of rules and regulations.



State Junior Athletics Championship 2014

This is to inform that Master Priyesh (XI) who participated in the Andhra Pradesh State Junior Athletics Championship 2014 held at Vijayawada has secured 4th position in Running and 5th position in Hurdles (4x400). He was awarded state level participation certificates for the meet.



Football Championship

We are proud to share that our Under-14 soccer team is the winner of Coco-Cola Football Championship held at Vishakhapatnam. Total 28 teams participated from various schools of Andhra Pradesh.


Cultural Program

This weekend our boarding children presented cultural program. They presented solo songs, group songs, music and dance. They also participated in various other activities like face painting, nail painting, hair styling and drawing tattoos on hands.















Trekking

This weekend boarders went for trekking at Thotla Konda. It’s a picturesque trek on hills of around 9 km. During the trek children visited an ancient historic point “Thotla Konda Buddhist Complex”. Children enjoyed the trekking.













Debate Competition

A debate competition was organized amongst the boarders. They participated and debated on the topic given to them. It was a wonderful and vigorous competition between them. Priyesh and his team won the debate competition.






DOMINO’S PIZZA STALL

A Pizza stall was setup by Domino’s on Children’s Day evening in our school campus. Dominos brought their oven and other equipment at our campus and baked pizzas on the campus itself and served them hot to the students. Two varieties of pizzas were available i.e. Barbeque Chicken and Country Special. Apart from pizzas, Choco Lava cake was also available. The Children’s Day was thoroughly enjoyed by the students.




SPORTS & FITNESS

Exercising in the morning is a wonderful way to create a positive routine and provides many added benefits beyond just keeping you fit. Exercising increases your productivity and gets your endorphins going.








Birthday celebration

This week, we celebrated birthday of Khayathi. On her birthday she distributed cake to boarders. Students enjoyed the treat given by Khayathi.
