Academic activity
Students of Grade 5 underwent an activity on the topic Reversible and Irreversible changes where students were divided into groups and they sorted out some points on the changes which are reversible and irreversible in our daily life. Students came up with lots of points with many examples.




LAB ACTIVITY
Students of class 8 CIE did a lab activity in connection with the lesson "Electricity". They learned about various electrical component connections and functions of them.
Students were asked to make a circuit using given components like rheostat, resistors, ammeter, battery eliminator, galvanometer and voltmeter. They even had to observe the current passing in the circuit and voltage of the given blub. They learned how to identify the components and connect them in a circuit.
By doing this experiment, students were able to identify the electronic components and the way to connect them in a circuit. They were also explained the function of the components.


NEWS PAPER ACTIVITY
Students of grade -IV were taken to the library and were given newspapers to read and made to find out the different features in a paper. Students were made to identify the different pages in the newspaper and tell whether all the pages have the same importance with regard to news. Students were made to identify the important news in the paper and were given ideas how to collect the cut outs for the project.




Field-trip
Our Students visited to Chandana Gardens as Field-trip in relation to the chapter “Soils of India and Forests of India”, in Social Studies. The students spoke with people working there and learnt about the way saplings should be planted, from where the soil comes, and most importantly about the natural manure mixed with leaf litter. This was a fun filled experience for the students, as they were able to spend a whole day amidst nature.





NATIONAL CHILDREN LITARETURE FESTIVEL, BHUBANESWAR
Hemanth P of grade X went to Bhubaneshwar to participate in National Children Literature Festival. He attended a seminar and got an opportunity to meet the famous writer Ruskin Bond. He took his autograph also.


NATIONAL ROBOTICS CHAMPIONSHIP
We are glad to share that our school children participated in National Robotics Championship held at IIT Mumbai. Around 300 teams participated from across India. Jahnavi Thomas of grade XII and Richa Khanna of grade IX represented Team A which qualified for grand finals. Udgat, Sai Prasad, Divya Agrawal and P Tejaswi of grade XII represented Team B and qualified for Zonal level.

SPORTS & FITNESS  
Exercising is a wonderful way to create a positive routine and provides many added benefits beyond just keeping you fit. Exercising increases productivity. One becomes more awake and ready to tackle the day by giving oneself that extra energy boost. Working out can increase the mental clarity for many hours post-exercise.



























Birthday celebration
This week, we celebrated birthday of Jinendra & Richa. On their birthday they distributed cake to boarders. Students enjoyed the treat given by them.
